These three downtown finishes are not interchangeable. Pick one walkable district. Drop once. Walk. Text the driver about twenty minutes before the last load. West Sixth, on Visit Austin’s district page, runs from Congress Avenue toward MoPac through Downtown, Old West Austin, and Clarksville, with limited street parking. Named rooms there (Devil May Care, Green Light Social, Star Bar, Mayfair, Bull & Bowl) are orientation, not a promised itinerary. Ask the written quote for a legal curb; do not idle in front of a patio.

Historic Sixth between Red River Street and Congress Avenue is different. The City of Austin said on 1 May 2025 that the street remains open to vehicles, and that Austin Police may still close it at any time — frequently on crowded Friday or Saturday evenings. Do not write “pick us up on Sixth.” Stage on 5th, 7th, or Congress. Rainey, per Visit Austin, is bungalows-turned-bars beside Lady Bird Lake with extremely limited street parking, walking distance to the Red River Cultural District. Drop once and return to a named pin unless the written quote names a stall for your date.

A groomsmen weekend sometimes adds a game or a show. That is a second clock. Moody Center’s published address is 2001 Robert Dedman Drive on the University of Texas campus. ACL Live at The Moody Theater on Willie Nelson Boulevard is a different building. Q2 Stadium sits in North Austin. The guys-night-out page owns those curbs when the ticket is the whole night. Stay here when the ticket is an add-on to dinner and one district.

If you want both, write two windows: arena or stadium hours with a published curb, then a later house-to-district night — or pay idle time while the crew is inside security.
