From South Congress dinner to a downtown rooftop
Dinner rarely ends the night. The typical second act moves from a South Congress or South Lamar restaurant to a downtown bar with a view, which is a ten-minute ride across the river that nobody wants to make in six separate cars. The Roosevelt Room on West Fifth handles a dressed-up crowd, and the hotel rooftops on Rainey Street are the fall favorite once the heat breaks in October. On the way, the bus or limo can pause on the south side of the Congress Avenue Bridge for a photo with the skyline behind the couple, which is the picture that ends up in the wedding slideshow a year later. A group of twenty rides that stretch on a 24-passenger party bus with the LED lighting set to the couple's colors and a playlist somebody built for the night. An engagement party is the same crowd at a smaller scale, so it is a fair preview of which bus the wedding will need.
