Twenty people on this cabin can get to the wet bar, stand in the middle while the bus idles outside a Rainey Street bar, and keep bags and jackets on a seat instead of underfoot. Twenty-four fits, and for a hotel-to-venue run on a UT football Saturday it works fine.
A Saturday on the 24 often starts in two places at once: a house in Bouldin for the bride's side and a hotel on 6th for the groom's, with the bus collecting both before dinner. From there the night usually runs through South Congress or East Austin and lands downtown. Concert nights work the same way, with a pickup near the Domain or Mueller, a drop by the Moody Center, and a reload after the show when the Red River exits back up. Choose the 24 over the 22 when your count is twenty to twenty-two and you want a section of floor to stay open with everyone on board, or when a joint bachelor and bachelorette night needs two coolers and the props on seats. Choose the 26 when the count is twenty-three or more, or when the group wants floor space at a full load. Above that, the 28- and 30-passenger buses start to feel like a different vehicle downtown, with longer walks from the drop. Groups of 21–30 in our booking data have historically seen a median of about $69 per passenger, and a full 24 is where the per-seat math starts to beat the smaller buses.
