About the 16 Passenger Party Bus
Our compact party bus, with LED lighting, premium sound, a wet bar, wrap-around leather seating, and flat-screen TVs for up to sixteen. Birthday groups, smaller bachelor and bachelorette parties, and concert crews of ten to fourteen are the usual riders.
Just over half of the Austin groups we hear from, 54%, are between eleven and twenty people, and the bottom half of that range lands right here. A Saturday on this bus usually looks like a pickup at a South Austin house around eight, a first drink at the wet bar while the driver works up South Lamar, and the LED lights doing their thing by the time the bus turns onto Rainey. Between stops the TVs are on, the music is yours, and nobody is checking a rideshare app in the cold outside Container Bar.
Sixteen is the seat count; ten to fourteen is where the bus feels like a party. At that number there is room to stand at the bar, move around while the bus sits at a light on Cesar Chavez, and keep purses and jackets off the floor. With all sixteen seats taken it still works fine for a seated ride, a hotel to Emo's and back, say, but it stops being a place to dance. Birthday groups in our booking data are a median of fifteen people, which is why so many of them end up here or on the 18.
The other thing a small bus buys you is access. A driveway in Tarrytown, a boutique hotel on South Congress, the loading zone behind a restaurant on West 6th: the 16 gets into places the 30- and 40-passenger buses cannot. That makes it a natural fit for a brewery afternoon that starts in Mueller and works east, or a Lake Travis day with a stop at a Hudson Bend house. If your crew is a dozen and the night is four hours, this is the party-bus experience without paying for empty seats.

Below the 16-passenger party bus is the 14 Passenger Limo Sprinter; above it are the 18-passenger and 20-passenger party buses. Pick the 16 over the sprinter when your group of ten to fourteen wants standing room, a wet bar, LED lighting, and TVs instead of a lounge van. Pick the 18 when your count is fifteen or sixteen and you want two seats for bags and a cooler, and the 20 when the group wants floor space to move for a longer night. Party bus quotes in our booking data have historically worked out to a median of about $92 per passenger, and a full 16 is one of the easier ways to land near that figure.
