How a local reads these results
A poll leader is a signal, not a rule. If Franklin leads the brisket poll but your pickup is in Cedar Park at 6 p.m. on a Saturday, a 40-minute line downtown may not fit a four-hour booking. The leaders make a good shortlist; the drive times come from the distance tool and how many of them fit from the timeline planner.
For event categories, look at the vote spread rather than just the winner. When prom parents split evenly between safety and timeliness, the takeaway is that both matter, which is why our prom page covers driver contact, photo stops, and the return plan in the same section.
Vehicle results and what they mean in Austin
Vehicle polls ask what people expect from a party bus, a limo, or a coach. Combine them with our fleet notes: 11- to 20-passenger groups make up 54% of Austin inquiries, which is why the 20 passenger party bus and 18 passenger Escalade limo get compared most. Groups above 30 tend to move to a shuttle or coach where everyone has a forward-facing seat.

What tends to win, and why it makes sense from the bus
The Austin favorites results have a pattern that anyone who has spent a Saturday on a party bus will recognize. Brisket places with a line win the BBQ poll, and then lose the actual stop to whoever is closest to the route, because forty minutes in the sun on East Eleventh is a lot to ask of a group in going-out clothes. The taco results skew toward East Austin trailers with a gravel lot, which is no accident: a lot with room for a 30-foot bus beats a better tortilla every time. Cocktail bars on Rainey Street win nightlife for the same reason, since the whole street is walkable from one drop at Davis and the bus can wait on River Street without circling.
Brunch and coffee results lean toward South Congress and the patios off South Lamar, which fits how Sunday mornings go after a bachelorette or birthday weekend: one pickup at the rental, one long stop, and a slow ride back with the windows down. When a result surprises you, it is usually because the voters were thinking about the food and you are thinking about where the bus can stop. Both are right; the route decides.
How the planning results line up with what people actually book
The planning categories are the ones we check against our own records. When the booking-window poll shows most people planning a month out, that matches the 32-day median in our Austin inquiries almost exactly. When the vehicle polls show 11- to 20-person groups split between a party bus and an SUV limo, that is the seam our fleet is built around, which is why the 16- and 20-passenger buses and the 18-passenger Escalade get compared on nearly every prom and bachelorette call. And when the tipping poll lands between fifteen and twenty percent, that is the range most groups settle on once they see the bill.
Where the votes and the records disagree is interesting too. People vote for weeknights more often than they book them, and they vote for six-hour nights more often than they pay for them; 46% of Austin requests with a known duration still ask for four hours. Treat the results as what people wish the night looked like, and the records as what it usually does, and plan somewhere in between.
